"Novaja Zemlja" in front of Marina di Alberese

In the clear winter days it's not infrequent to assist to characteristic luminous phenomena related to the sunset. The sun has gone well behind the horizon, but some beams of light, because of the refraction in the lower and cold layers of the air, continue to to be visible shaped as one flattened strip. This phenomenon is known as "Novaja Zemlja".
